FlipTop rapper caught in drug buy-bust operation

MANILA, Philippines —  Rapper Loonie and his four other cohorts were reportedly arrested during a buy-bust operation in a hotel in Makati on Wednesday night. 

Officers of Makati Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Unit identified the four other suspects as David Rizon, Ivan Agustin, Albert Alvarez and Idyll Liza Peroramas, Loonie's younger sister.

According to Makati police chief Senior Superintendent Rogelio Simon, the transaction happened at the basement of a hotel located along Polaris Street in Barangay Poblacion, Makati City at 8:45 p.m. 

The FlipTop emcee and his companions were reportedly caught with 15 sachets of high-grade marijuana worth P100,000.

Loonie, whose real name is Marlon Peroramas, is also behind the songs “Tao Lang” and “Pilosopo,” among others.
