Luis Manzano explains statement on ex Angel Locsin’s engagement
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actor and TV host Luis Manzano clarified his statement on the recent engagement of his former girlfriend Angel Locsin to film producer Neil Arce.
In his Twitter account, Luis answered a tweet from a fan saying that he is allegedly bitter for Angel and Neil’s engagement.

The fan posted a video clip of Luis’ interview saying, “‘Wag n’yo na akong idamay sa kwento niya. Hindi kailangan ang opinyon ko diyan or pangalan ko diyan. Wala akong kinalaman sa kwento.”
“Move-on na kya @luckymanzano nakakatanda lalo yang pagiging Bitter,” a Twitter user told Luis.
Luis tweeted back, telling the user: “Ang sabi ko ‘wag na’ (hindi niya) kami idamay sa kwento o love story nila :) ang kwento nila ay sa kanila, ang amin ay amin ;) kaya wag na kami idamay ng ibang fans or press sa love story ng ibang tao ;).”
The “Minute To Win It” host posted another tweet, saying: “Or i may have said ‘wag niyo na’ ng mabilis kaya ganun tunog but ayan malinaw na what i said and meant ha ;).”

He added that Angel and Neil’s love story is for them to have and it does not need his opinion.
“Uulitin ko lang, one for the road, last na ;) i meant ‘wag niyo na’ baka mabilis pagkakasabi ko kaya ganun labas ;) ang love story nila ay kanila ;) di na kelangan ng opinyon namin :)” Luis wrote.

Angel and Luis broke up last 2016. Luis’ current girlfriend, Jessy Mendiola, was rumored to be the reason for the breakup, but Luis denied it.
It can be recalled that Angel spoke about Luis denying that Jessy was the third party in their relationship.
“Kung anong sinabi niya. Lagi namang ganoon eh. Kung anong sinabi niya, eh, ‘di ‘yun na ‘yun. Kayo? Ano sa tingin n‘yo?” Angel said in interviews.
