Future beauty queen? Maymay Entrata slays catwalk with Catriona Gray, wears Mak Tumang lava gown
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Maymay Entrata could not believe that she walked the runway with Binibining Pilipinas beauty queens, including Miss Universe titlists Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.
In her Instagram account, Maymay posted a photo of her wearing her own version of lava gown made by Mak Tumang.
“Hanggang ngayon nag uumapaw ang aking kasiyahan! Di makapaniwala na maging parte ng fashion show with our beloved beauty queens! Lalo na kay Ms. @catriona_gray ngayon lang ako ulit mag salita pero di ko na mapigilan ang pag hanga at bait nya! Glory to God!!” Maymay wrote.
Maymay looked fabulous during the "Raise Your Flag for Catriona Gray" concert held in Araneta Coliseum, thanks to her hairstyle by Jay Wee and makeup by Owen Sarmiento.
Nonetheless, the teen actress regretted not having a selfie with Miss Universe 2018.
“Ps. Abangan po sa @iwantasap nandun po lahat ang mga pangyayari sa backstage at kung panu namin ginawan ng paraan ang makapag picture lang kay Ms. Cat pero sad to say wala juy chance pero alam kong may next time pa. Sapat na sakin ang makita sya. Salamat po at naging bahagi ako ng napaka gandang gabing ito,” Maymay wrote.
Before winning the pageant, Catriona said she was open to have her life story featured in “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” with Maymay portraying her. Gray, however, clarified that there were no talks yet to have her story told in the drama show.
During Catriona's homecoming, she also reunited with her fellow Binibining Pilipinas queens, who welcomed her in their own crimson outfits to match her winning Mak Tumang lava gown.
