MANILA, Philippines— The stars of hit Netflix original series “You,” Penn Badgley and Shay Mitchell on Tuesday experienced riding a jeepney.
After trying out halo-halo and turon and learning some Filipino phrases, the two actors who are in Manila to promote their series, experienced riding a jeepney.

The Hollywood stars also posed in front of a jeepney parked in front of their hotel before they graced the special fan event for “You” in Greenbelt, Makati City.
“Did you even come to the Philippines if you didn't pose in front of a jeepney?” Filipino-Canadian actress Shay said.
Shay also thanked her co-star Penn for joining her in her Filipino adventures.
“Thank you Penn for putting up with my shenanigans this week,” she said.
It is Shay’s third time in the country while it is Penn’s first time to visit the Philippines.
On Monday, the two actors thanked their Filipino supporters for watching their series and welcoming them here.
"Thank you guys for being so supportive and loving our show and welcoming us and me again into your beautiful country,” Shay said.
“Everything she said except it's my first time here. Thank you for welcoming me and thank you for watching,” Penn added. —Rosette Adel
