Closer to the crown: Gray steps up to Miss Universe top 3

BANGKOK, Thailand (Update 3 10:50 a.m.) — The hope for Philippines’ Miss Universe dream is alive after Filipina bet Catriona Gray successfully breezed through the question and answer portion of the top 5 round.

Gray was asked on the legalization of marijuana.

"On legalization of medical marijuana, I’m for it being used for medical use, but not so for recreational use. Because I think if people will argue then what about alcohol and cigarettes? Everything is good but in moderation," she said.

For the top 3 round, Gray will do the final word and look to inch closer to the coronation.

Gray is eyeing to become the fourth Filipina to take home the Miss Universe crown.
