Dingdong Dantes happy to work in movie with ‘no network barriers’ 

MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes and former Kapuso and now Kapamilya actor Richard Gutierrez are glad that they finally have a movie together. 

In a recent press conference for their Metro Manila Film Festival movie with Vice Ganda, “Fantastica,” the two matinee idols said they are also happy to do a film with the “Unkabogable Star.” 

“Ako ‘yung opportunity na ‘to very special kasi sakin kasi una, ngayon lang ako makakagawa ng pelikula of course with the Vice Ganda, tapos Pasko pa. Pangalawa, gusto ko ring makatrabaho si Richard Gutierrez dahil matagal kaming nagsama sa GMA,” Dingdong said.  

“Nagsama kami sandali sa pelikula niya sa ‘Mulawin The Movie’ pero maiksi lang. Ito lang talaga ‘yung pagkakataon na nagsama kami at kagandahan pa nun sa isang comedy film pa with all these brilliant actors,” he added.  

Dingdong enthused that their movie is for all and has no network barriers for the Filipinos this Christmas.

“Tama nga e. Hindi siya porket Kapuso, Kapamilya, Kapatid basta para sa Pasko ibibigay namin lahat para sa audience,” Dingdong said. 

For his part, Richard said the movie is an opportunity of a lifetime for him because it is not every day that you have been offered this kind of movie with an all-star cast. 

“Nakaka-excite ‘yung project na for Christmas tapos kasama ko pa si Vice at si Dong. Siyempre wala nang atrasan ‘yun. Game na. Tapos comedy pa. It’s an opportunity of a lifetime. ‘Yung mga ganitong klaseng concept na pang-Christmas, comedy, pang bata, bihira dumating ‘yung opportunity, so this is the best opportunity for me makasama si Vice, si Dong at lahat ng cast at si Direk,” he said. 

“Fantastica” will be showing nationwide this coming Christmas as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival.
