MANILA, Philippines — British-Norwegian boy band A1 opened the first show of their 20th Anniversary Reunion Concert in the Philippines strong as they brought the New Frontier Theater crowd on a trip down memory lane with their hits.

It was the first time in 15 years that Ben Adams, Mark Read, Paul Marazzi and Christian Ingebrigtsen performed together as they opened their concert with an a cappella song, “Forever in Love.”
After reminding the audience on how beautiful their voices were, the popular boy band in the late ‘90s and early 2000s then showcased their dancing skills as they rendered their hit single, “Same Old Brand New You,” which made everyone in the theater dance.

The crowd then sang along with the group as they performed their hit songs “One More Try,” “Ready or Not,” “Walking in the Rain,” “Heaven By Your Side,” “Everytime,” “Caught in the Middle,” and “One Last Song,” to name a few.

They also sang their new single, “Armour,” in the concert. But the biggest applause and screaming that night came when A1 sang their hit song, “Like A Rose.”

The last song they performed was their version of the A-Ha-original hit, “Take On Me.”
