MANILA, Philippines — Fans of Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial are pointing their fingers at Barbie’s rumored former boyfriend, actor Paul Salas, as the alleged culprit behind her bruises as seen on her Instagram photos.
The now-deleted post captioned, “No to physical abuse. NEVER AGAIN,” showed Barbie with bruises on her chest, arm and collarbone. The post has been screenshot by netizens before it was deleted.

On her Twitter account, the “Araw Gabi” star also posted: “Girls, just because mahal nyo ang isang tao pero sinasaktan kayo physically, hindi pwedeng patuloy yan. Hindi tama manakit ng babae physically.”

Paul’s camp has remained silent on the issue, but his father, Universal Motion Dancer member Jim Salas, posted a photo on Instagram that says: “Don’t play the victim to circumstances you created.” The photo has been captioned: “GOD KNOWS.”
