The JaDine Revolution & the concert calendar

James Reid and Nadine Lustre

It is still early times, but 2018 is already shaping up to become one star-studded year of concerts. And mind you, what is in store for Pinoys are not just the regular stuff but months and months that will see performances by the biggest and the brightest from out here and abroad.

First off. James Reid and Nadine Lustre will be back at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum on Feb. 9 for Revolution: The JaDine Concert.

It will be recalled that James shocked fans and rocked local show business during his last concert also at the Araneta, two years ago. The singing and acting heartthrob said “I love you” loud and clear from the Big Dome stage to his leading lady Nadine Lustre and then admitted that they are indeed very much in love.

That was a big no-no. Local movie stars were used to keeping the public guessing as far as the truth about their love teams was concerned. It was always an “are they or aren’t they situation.” James and Nadine changed that. That admission resulted in a flurry of similar admissions by other love teams.  And so it has been ever since.

Meanwhile, James and Nadine are set to commemorate that eventful evening when they once more step on the Araneta stage for Revolution, where they will perform their big hits like Bahala Na and Para-Paraan and then introduce their cool new tunes like Cool Down and IL2LU.

No admission is necessary this time around, unless they have something truly earthshaking to declare, but expect a lot of kilig moments as James and Nadine remain seriously very much in love.

Directed by Paul Basinillo, Revolution: The JaDine Concert is produced by Viva Live and presented by Manulife, Champion and Hot Shots.
