Ara Mina not closing doors on reconciliation with Patrick Meneses

MANILA, Philippines- Ara Mina is not closing the doors for possible reconciliation with Bulacan Mayor Patrick Meneses.

“Bilisan niya, habang wala pa akong boyfriend,” she replied, laughing, when asked if she’s open to reconciling with Patrick, in an interview on Thursday.

“Kailangan kong i-ready ang sarili ko if ever na hindi na kami magkakabalikan,” she added.

Until now it isn’t clear for their fans why they decided to end their relationship, especially since their daughter Amanda was born.

“Siya ang nag-initiate, three months old baby ko,” she said, recalling their breakup. “Nasa dinner kami no'n, nasa function room kami. Sabi niya parang ayaw niya mag-pretend, ayaw na niya. Gano'n kasimple.”

She even got confused when he said that he doesn’t find anything wrong with her, and even complimented her as a partner.

The actress said Patrick is probably not yet ready to raise a family.

For now, they remained good friends for the welfare of their daughter.

Ara is just hoping that this 2016 “maging happy naman ang love life ko,” and would make sure that “'yong next na magiging partner ko, e, siya na. Kasi I'm not getting any younger para paiba-iba pa [ng partner].”
