Marimar’s ‘explosive’ ending

MANILA, Philippines – More exciting scenes await viewers as one of GMA Network’s top-rating primetime series, Marimar, airs its finale tomorrow, Jan. 8.

Since its pilot episode, Marimar has captured the hearts of viewers. May it be the ratings game or the social media trends, the audience welcomed every character, especially the love team of Megan Young and Tom Rodriguez. In an interview, Megan shares her happiness on the success of the program, “I’m very thankful sa mga patuloy na sumusuporta sa Marimar, natutuwa talaga ako.”

Equally grateful for being part of the show is Tom who will miss the bonding moments on the set,“Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng walang sawang sumusubaybay sa Marimar. Lahat mami-miss ko talaga. Napamahal na sa akin lahat ng katrabaho ko sa Marimar, mula kay direk Dom (Dominic Zapata) hanggang sa mga katrabaho kong artista.”

As the series comes to its end, Angelika (Jaclyn Jose) and Antonia (Lauren Young) continue to seek revenge against Marimar. Despite Antonia’s revelation that she is bearing the child of Sergio, the relationship of Sergio and Marimar even grows stronger, especially now that they are about to get married again. In desperation, Angelika and Antonia plan to kidnap Cruzita (Ashley Cabrera).
