MANILA, Philippines – Every family in Barangay Puruntong is busy preparing for the medya noche in tonight’s episode of ABS-CBN’s Home Sweetie Home.

It is only Nanay Loi (Sandy Andolong) who is not excited for the night’s revelry because she is packing Tatay Manny’s (Phillip Salvador) luggage who is scheduled to fly back to the US on New Year’s Eve. And due to the rampant cases of tanim bala in the airport, she is worried that Tatay Manny might become a victim. Romeo (John Lloyd Cruz) and Julie (Toni Gonzaga) offer to help secure Tatay Manny’s bags by covering them with plastic. But Nanay Loi thinks it is best for him not to leave the country anymore so she secretly hides his passport. Will Tatay Manny miss his flight?

Meanwhile, Obet (Jobert Austria) is selling firecrackers to his neighbors and no one likes to buy due to their harmful effect. To prove that the firecrackers are safe, Obet demonstrates and gives tips on using them. Still, Romeo thinks it is safe to welcome the New Year with torotot than firecrackers.
