“Ngayon sinusubukan namin tanggapin lahat. Nagsi-sink in pa rin kahit medyo hindi rin maganda ‘yong paano siya nawala. Tinatanggap pa rin,” she said in an interview on the ABS-CBN morning news program “Umagang Kay Ganda” aired on Tuesday.

Angelica was at a taping when she received the news about her mother's death.

When asked about her memorable moment with her mother, Angelica said it was the time when she defended her from bashers in the ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime.”

On the September 29 episode of the noontime show, Teresa went on stage and asked the bashers of her daughter to stop judging her.

She’s thankful for everyone who sent their condolences to her family, including some of her ex-suitors in the noontime show’s segment “Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastillas.”

Richard Parajinog or now known as “Mr. Pastillas” sent his condolences to Angelica’s family.

On his Twitter post on Sunday, he asked for prayers for the Yap family.

Christopher Labao also sympathizes with Angelica, saying he knows how it feels to lose someone you love.
