Bamboo ‘live’ at Arellano U
MANILA, Philippines – The Arellano University is holding a benefit concert billed as Bamboo..Live in Concert tonight at the Arellano grounds in Legarda.
Val Cayco, VP for marketing of Arellano U, said that proceeds from the concert will benefit the NCAA teams of Arellano, the AU Chiefs and AU Braves, which both performed very well in the recently concluded NCAA Basketball tournament.
“We have been finding ways to augment our funds for our basketball teams and we thought of coming up with a solo concert with Bamboo (photo). Knowing the popularity of Bamboo among the students, we know that the project will be a big success,” Cayco said.
Tickets have been selling like hotcakes, with Arellano students and alumni expected to fill the venue.
Top artists have been topbilled in concerts at the Arellano branches. Now, it’s Bamboo’s turn to capture the hearts of the Arellano community.
