Job opportunities via Aussie internships

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – A paid internship opportunity in one of the most culturally diverse and fast-growing countries in the world may sound too good to be true, but not to hundreds of students from various parts of the globe, including the Philippines, who have experienced the benefits of an Australian internship program that leads to further career growth and new cultural awareness.

Charles Patrick Tiu of Far Eastern University (FEU) was one of those who have explored the opportunities offered by internships in Australia.

A member of the pioneer batch of the Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management course at FEU, Patrick was  already equipped with the fundamental knowledge of his chosen field of study, but still he wanted to explore other opportunities where he could apply what he has learned.

The Australian internship program provided the answer to Patrick’s quest.

As part of the internship program, Patrick is now a full-time staff member at the QT  Hotel Canberra, a job that accords the 23-year-old Pinoy student the benefits and privileges of an employee.

Join the many who have availed themselves of an Australian internship.
