MANILA, Philippines – Vice Ganda's billboard for his concert “Vice Gandang Ganda sa Sarili sa Cebu (E, di Wow)” was taken down.

The billboard violated Cebu City's Anti-decency Ordinance, The Freeman reported on Tuesday. The ordinance states that “vulgar and indecent” photos are not allowed in the city.

According to Cebu City Anti-Indecency Board Chairwoman Lucelle Mercado, the photo of Vice wearing a sexy red dress surrounded by topless men was deemed “sexually suggestive.”

Mercado adds that the decision was also based on the complaints received by the board from concerned citizens.

The producers immediately put down the billboards placed at the cities of Mabolo and Kamputhaw.

The said billboard was the same one used in promoting the comedian's concert here in Manila last May 22 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

His concert in Cebu will happen on July 9 at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
