MANILA, Philippines – Move over Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry is stepping in.

Last year, Glu Mobile Inc. created Kim Kardashian: Hollywood in which Kim’s character was named no. 2 among the most influential fictional star  by TIME.  Coming in this year is another app which will be pioneered by the  same developer.

According to its press release, the game will feature Katy's voice, likeness and personality. Furthermore, it will introduce players to a digital playground of global success and talent. Glu expects to launch the game worldwide in late 2015 on iOS and Android.

Katy Perry’s strong character and wide range of supporters pushed the developer to create the app. "Katy is arguably the most recognized musician in America following her Super Bowl XLIX Halftime performance this past Sunday. She is a cultural icon and we expect to translate key elements of her success into an innovative, highly entertaining mobile experience," said Glu CEO, Niccolo de Masi.

During Katy’s performance at the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show, the average television audience hit reached more than 118 million people, the highest number of viewers in the event’s history.
