How MMFF entries fared on first day

The MMDA (Metropolitan Manila Development Authority), which is on top of the ongoing Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), is mum on the first-day grosses of the entries and revealed only the Top Four (at random). However, STAR sources gave the following ranking (with “unofficial” rounded-up earnings):

• Praybeyt Benjamin — P53M

• Feng Shui — P31M

• My Big Bossing — P28M

• Kubot: Aswang Chronicles — P12M

• Shake, Rattle & Roll XV (no figures given)

• English Only, Please (no figures given)

• Bonifacio: Unang Pangulo (no figures given)

• Magnum .357 (no figures given)

Earnings are expected to improve during the weekend screenings, especially after the Gabi ng Parangal Awards tonight.
