Geoff Eigenmann: From chubby to hunky

MANILA, Philippines- Geoff Eigenmann is prepping up for the annual Cosmo Bachelor Bash on September 24.

This will be Geoff’s first time to join the event, though this is the second time he’s been featured in the magazine.

“This is the second time that I’m in their magazine,” he said in an interview on Tuesday, at the 5th anniversary celebration of Perry P. Lansigan artist management.

“Pero the bash, this will be my first time. Unfortunately before, I got in to a motorcycle accident a week before the event so hindi natuloy. So sana this year sana makabawi.”

The said event will also be the first time where the Kapuso actor will flaunt his well-toned body, after months of hard work to lose weight.

It was May last year when the actor was given a memo by his home network, GMA, to lose weight since he’s one of their bankable leading men.

“I’ve been exercising a lot,” Geoff replied when asked how he losed weight over a year. “I’m doing mixed martial arts, jujitsu, wrestling, boxing and Muay Thai. Tapos mayro’n din akong ginagawang fight form sa gym, all different movements from different martial arts.”

“Diet-wise I’m doing Paleo,” he added.

According to thepaleodiet.com, this diet “is based upon the fundamental concept that the optimal diet is the one to which we are genetically adapted.”

This means that Geoff’s diet plan is “gluten-free, non-GMO (genetically modified organisms), so no preservatives, all organic siya. It helps a lot, it goes well with workout. Mabilis lang ako mag-lose ng weight.”

Now that he’s back in shape, Geoff is ready for his upcoming project which is still being discussed by his manager Perry Lansigan and GMA Network.

His last project was the defunct primetime fantasy series “Adarna,” where he starred with Kylie Padilla.
