Quirky residents in Wild

MANILA, Philippines - Today on GMA 7’s Born to be Wild, hosts Doc Ferds Recio and Doc Nielsen Donato feature some cute-looking and quirky creatures.

In Bukidnon, Doc Nielsen encounters two houses with quirky residents. He sees fruit bats that hang from a local’s roof and birds known as balinsasayaw that nest under another local’s home. With forests growing smaller and smaller, the creatures are searching for new shelter.

Doc Ferds and his team, meanwhile, document cute-looking creatures that are armed with some of the best natural defenses. Find out why a shrimp is considered the “Manny Pacquiao” of the sea and is known to have one of the most powerful punches on the planet. A cuttlefish, on the other hand, though at first may look like an innocent piece of plastic floating underwater, is actually a color-changer.

Born to be Wild airs Sundays after AHA.
