MANILA, Philippines - A beauty from Albay was named Bb. Avon at the 2014 Bb. Pilipinas pageant. The special award was Avon’s way of celebrating the radiant beauty of Filipinas as represented by Yvethe Marie Santiago (photo), a 20-year-old Certified Public Accountant (CPA), who also clinched the Bb. Pilipinas Supranational title.
A Daraga, Albay native, who came all the way to Manila to achieve her national pageant dreams, Yvette succeeds last year’s Bb. Avon winner, Bea Rose Santiago, who is also the reigning Miss International.
As official make-up sponsor for the country’s biggest and most prestigious beauty event, Avon continues to champion true Filipina beauty. The Bb. Pilipinas pageant, a project of the Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc., aims to lead and support projects and activities geared towards the development of underprivileged communities in the country, and the advancement of unity within these communities.
