Bad pork on Solar’s Town Hall

MANILA, Philippines - Solar News Channel’s Town Hall returns with a special on the pork barrel. The Town Hall special aims to go through the details of the PDAF or Priority Development Assistance Fund.

The scam that was first reported on a local newspaper became a full-blown exposé as names of politicians have been  dragged into the mess and ghost projects were discovered.

After the exposé, investigations led by different private and government sectors were made. The Commission on Audit submitted the Special Audits Office Report No. 2012-03.

Pia Hontiveros will lead the discussion about the pork barrel with members of the media, economic experts and political analysts. Menchu Macapagal will also join the discussion by interacting with netizens on social media.
