MANILA, Philippines - The production staff of Todo Max recently gave Angel Locsin (photo) a surprise party to celebrate her 27th birthday and her victory in the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) where she clinched the Best Actress award.
Angel’s boyfriend, Phil Younghusband, also surprised her as he attended the party.
After, Angel and the staff went back to taping to prepare for another fun-filled episode of the weekend sitcom. Tonight’s episode will see Isabel (Angel) finally graduating from a nursing school.
But before she attends to patients, Isabel must first take care of her classmate Carly Crawford (Nikki Gil) who feels disheartened because Carly’s parents who live abroad aren’t sure if they can make it to her graduation day.
As the big day approaches, Isabel realizes she’s in bigger trouble because she hasn’t paid for her toga, yearbook, college ring and other fees required to be settled to graduate.
Can Isabel attend her graduation rites when her father Tay Mac (Al Tantay) does not have enough money to pay the fees? Can Carly’s parents grant her wish to appear on the day she will receive her diploma? Toda Max airs Saturdays after Maalaala Mo Kaya on ABS-CBN.
