Ryzza, talk show host

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Little Miss Philippines 2012 grand winner Ryzza Mae Dizon gets her own show, which starts airing today at 11:30 a.m.

Showbiz’s newest child sensation stands to be the country’s hottest and youngest talk show host as she headlines Eat, Bulaga! Presents…The Ryzza Mae Show.

Ryzza seems destined for stardom if one were to trace her luck in the Little Miss Philippines 2012 contest. Eliminated during the semi-final round, Ryzza returned via the Eat, Bulaga! talent search’s wildcard edition and went to win the contest, besting other mestiza/better-looking candidates.

The saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover” holds true in Ryzza’s case because underneath the “little package” are loads of talents that are enough to propel her to heights of success.

Ryzza’s star began to shine brighter via her now signature sing-and-dance act of Cha Cha Rap! with Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola. She was also able to hold her own against Korean superstar Psy when they did a duet of the 2012 monstrous hit song Gangnam Style.

Ryzza’s natural knack for comedy enables her as well to pit comedic timing and trade punchlines with the more senior comedians like Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Jose, Wally, Jimmy Santos and other Eat, Bulaga! hosts.

So, brace yourselves as Ryzza spreads cheers and brings laughter weekday mornings via Eat, Bulaga! Presents…The Ryzza Mae Show, just before Eat, Bulaga! on GMA 7.

Big-name celebrities like Susan Roces and Maricel Soriano are slated to join the newest child wonder as guests. How they will fare when they go up against the kiddie host is definitely worth watching.
