“Saktong ready lang,” added Lance. “I’m doing training to get my body into basketball condition. Of course, we’re very excited now that the All-Star Games are just around the corner, especially since this is the first time Viva will be holding an All-Star Games.”

When Lance was a college student at Ateneo de Davao University, he used to play alongside the late Rene Baterbonia, who was the captain of the high school team at the time.

While Joseph said he is “born ready” to play in the Viva All-Star Games 2026, Gab shared that he is thrilled to be playing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum for the first time.

“Kudos to Viva for giving us practices every week. We have a coach. Nakakatuwa nga eh because I feel like I’m back in high school the way na pinapatakbo kami and... so OK naman po. We’re also doing extra work and we’re getting coached, drills to be ready in Araneta. For me, I’m super excited because this is my first time playing in Araneta. And it’s always been my dream,” Gab said.

Rabin, for his part, admitted that he has not been able to prepare as much due to his tight schedule. “I’ve been doing a lot of taping lately. When I have time, I play and train. I’m very happy to play in the All-Star Games because I’ll be playing alongside my idols.”

“Yes, we’re getting ready,” chimed in Adie, who cited their coach, former Philippine Basketball Association cager Ronnie Magsanoc. “He keeps us prepared for the event. I’m very grateful lang din to show yung other side ng whole being namin.”

Equally thrilled to play alongside his friends is Rob, who shared that they have been practicing while enjoying the entire process.

Meanwhile, Amiel shared, “I’m also excited because itong mga ’to, nakakasama ko sa mga gig, and now, makakasama ko naman sila sa paglalaro ng basketball. It’s also an experience for us to deepen our chemistry.”

For Migo, he has always been ready when it comes to basketball, as the sport has been a part of his life. “But there’s a bit of adjustment because we are building our chemistry. Even though we’re busy, we always find time to practice and magkita to prepare for the game. I’m excited to play with my idols sa Viva One kasi balita ko mahuhusay daw mga ’to.”
