Nickelodeon’s Hapon Hangout is the new kids’ tambayan

MANILA, Philippines - Nickelodeon gives viewers a new reason to make a mad dash home with Hapon Hangout, the newest afternoon happening that promises two straight hours of pure unadulterated fun. Viewers can tune in from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to catch previews and exclusive premieres of new shows in the exciting timeslot.

Get in on the action and bring the popcorn as Hapon Hangout opens with the WINX Club, a fantasy series that follows Bloom and her five best friends Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aisha in their day-to-day adventures at Alfea College. Catch the return of WINX Club at 4 p.m. and see the girls transform into magical fairies who use their powers to fight evil and save the world.

Next up is T.U.F.F. Puppy, a spy-themed comedy centering on the quests of Dudley Puppy as he enters the super secret crime-fighting organization T.U.F.F. — Turbo Undercover Fighting Force as a new recruit and befriends top agent Kitty Katswell. Will they succeed in protecting their city of Petropolis from the evil animal organization of D.O.O.M. (Diabolical Order of Mayhem)? See how their battle plan unfolds at 4:30 p.m.

Also joining the Hapon Hangout crew is Little Spirou at 5 p.m. It is an animated series revolving around a crafty eight-year-old who always gets his way around sticky situations. Kids can count on Little Spirou for his alternative guide to kid survival with sly tricks up his sleeve. Never one to take life seriously, he’s always game for laughs.

Rounding out the two-hour viewing extravaganza is a blast from the past from one of the iconic all-time favorites, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward. Airing at 5:30 p.m., join Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo as they’re transported 100 years into the future and battle with more technologically-advanced adversaries. An action-packed series with moments of comedy, there’s never a dull moment with the lean, mean, green fighting machines.
