Guests in David Letterman

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Emmy-nominated actress and comedienne Amy Poehler sits down with David Letterman to talk about the latest episode of Parks and Recreation, where Poehler is the lead actress. The Emmy nominated show recently called in the second most powerful man in the US to guest on the show, Vice President Joe Biden. Poehler’s character in the show, Leslie Knope, took a tour of the White House with her fiancé Ben Wyatt, played by Adam Scott, where they bumped into Biden. Leslie’s reaction was priceless. Tune in as Poehler talks about working with the Vice President and more Parks and Recreation trivia.

Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson also drops by to promote his upcoming movie, Red Dawn. The suspense action movie revolves around the lives of a group of teenagers trying to save what’s left of their town from a North Korean invasion. Hutcherson stars on the show beside Chris Hemsworth and Josh Peck. Red Dawn hits  theaters tomorrow, Nov. 21.

To take over the stage with a performance is indie duo Tegan and Sara. The Canadian twins have been one of the front-runners in the indie music scene since they formed in 1995. After six successful albums, Tegan and Sara will release another album scheduled for next year.
