Sam Milby: Working with Juday is a rare opportunity

MANILA, Philippines - After a three-month stay in the United States, Sam Milby realizes that chasing a Hollywood dream needs more than three months to bear fruit and a project with Judy Ann Santos is something he could not pass up.

“It was a great experience for me — challenging, yet character-molding,” says Sam. “My stay there ignited something in me. It gave me more confidence and passion in the work that I do. I am much more determined in improving my craft.”

When asked if he would give up his Hollywood dream, Sam quickly explains that the past months he has successfully established connections in that industry, and he has enjoyed fairly good reviews from entertainment industry executives there.

Sam, while in the US, has been part of Broadway star Ana Maria Perez de Tagle’s benefit concert for St. Jude’s Children Hospital. He met Ana’s manager Kevin Jonas Sr., father of the Jonas Brothers, who was all praises for Sam’s talent and charm.

“I am still determined to pursue that dream, and I believe I have a good team backing me up. I would definitely go back for another round of casting calls next year,” adds Sam. “But for now, I just can’t let this opportunity to work with Ms. Judy Ann Santos in a teleserye pass me by. This is a once in a lifetime chance.”

Sam expresses excitement over working with Juday and considers this a privilege.

“I know I’ll learn a lot from her, and I am very thankful that ABS-CBN chose me to be her partner in her teleserye comeback,” says Sam. “To all my fans, I am very happy to be back here and to do the string of projects lined-up for me here in the next months.”

Since his return from the US, Sam has been given warm welcome by some of the biggest shows of ABS-CBN like The Buzz, Sarah G. Live and ASAP 2012, where he is a regular performer.

Sam is being managed by Erickson Raymundo of Cornerstone Talent Management Center (www.cornerstonetalents.com).
