Sexy Talk With Agung Saga

The Indonesian actor plays Gwen Zamora’s leading man  in The Witness

Who’s Agung Saga and why is Gwen Zamora upbeat about him?

Well, if you watch The Witness, opening tomorrow nationwide (and then in other cities in Asia), you will have an idea who he is.

This much can be said of Agung, 23 (born on Sept. 9, 1988): His first film is an action-drama called D’Love (2010). In The Witness, described by Gwen as “an international movie,” Agung plays the bad-boy boyfriend of Gwen’s.

“Agung is very shy,” said Gwen who is the only Filipina in the cast, chosen for her being a Eurasian. “And charming in his own quiet way.”

In The Witness, directed by Muhammad Yusuf and produced by Skylar Pictures (released through GMA Films), Gwen plays Angel Fordeliza Isagani, general manager of a hotel in Jakarta where she was transferred from Manila. In her nightmares, she’s haunted by a young man (Agung’s character Aris) who attempted suicide by firing a gun into his mouth.

Maricel makes peace with her two maids

As the cliché goes, all’s well that ends well.

Remember last year when her two maids accused Maricel Soriano (photo) of beating them up?

Everything has been settled out of court.

Here’s the joint statement (translated from Tagalog) of the aggrieved parties sent to Funfare through the office of Viva boss Vic del Rosario Jr. and Maricel’s manager Shirley Kuan::

On June 29, 2011, there was a misunderstanding between Miss Soriano and her maids Miss Acojedo and Miss Cachuela. Because of it, the two maids filed a case with the fiscal of Makati City.

With the help of Mon Tulfo and Congressman Bagasina of ALE Partylist, the two parties were given a chance to explain their sides to each other. It was then that the whole thing was a mere misunderstanding caused by emotional outburst.

The two parties have decided to make peace and put what happened behind them.

Miss Soriano and the two maids Miss Acojedo and Miss Cachuela wish to thank Tulfgo and Congresswoman Bagasina for helping sort out the mess.

What’s up?
