ABS-CBN launches the Bida Best Kid campaign

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN embraces its responsibility to promote and produce values-oriented programs for Filipino children that not only entertain but also empower them as kids by launching the Bida Best Kid campaign today in ASAP 2012.

Through the Bida Best Kid campaign, ABS-CBN is telling its viewers, especially the parents, that the programs aired on its free TV and cable channels have child-friendly content that feeds their minds with knowledge and good values. It feeds their aspirations to become the best that they can be, whether in academics, arts, or sports. These shows will also serve as perfect opportunities for parents to bond with their kids.

The Bida Best Kid programs can be seen across all ABS-CBN platforms that include ABS-CBN Ch. 2, free TV channel Studio 23, animé cable TV channel Hero TV, and a free TV channel for kids to be offered on ABS-CBN Digital TV when the government gives the go-signal for the rollout.

Among the currently airing ABS-CBN programs that are certified kid-friendly are primetime series e-Boy, educational program Matanglawin, weekend fantasy series Wansapanataym, weekday morning cartoon programs Sailor Moon and Naruto and weekend Nickelodeon and Marvel titles such as Penguins of Madagascar and X-Men.

Watch the campaign kick-off in ASAP 2012 with its first station ID starring the child stars of ABS-CBN such as Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Bugoy Cariño, Yogo Singh, Junior Master Chef: Pinoy Edition Final Four, and the kids from currently airing Kapamilya shows e-Boy, Wako Wako, Goin’ Bulilit and even the kids from the now-defunct Ikaw ay Pag-ibig and Pinoy Dream Academy: Little Dreamers.

The Bida Best Kid station ID will also premiere simultaneously on Studio 23 and Hero TV (SkyCable ch 44).

The Bida Best Kid station ID was created by ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management head Robert Labayen. It was directed by Peewee Gonzales, while the director of photography was Johny delos Santos. The jingle was written by Danie Sedilla-Cruz, while the music was composed by Ferdinand Dimadura.
