Sam, Elmo will do front act for Miley

MANILA, Philippines - It’s confirmed: Sam Concepcion and Elmo Magalona (photo) will do the front act for Miley Cyrus’ The Corazon Gitano (Gypsy Heart) Tour at SM MOA Concert Grounds on Friday, June 17.

Nixon Sy, promotions manager for Futuretainment, Inc. and Music Management International (MMI), said that they conducted a survey on who among the teens stars today can best do the job.

‘Sam and Elmo won hands down,’ said Nixon. ‘Having them on the concert is also our way of showing support for OPM artists.’

It’s Sam’s second time to front-act for an international artist. The first was for Taylor Swift who gave Sam a congratulatory hug backstage after his performance.

The Philippines is the only Asian country Miley’s management has included on her world tour.
