Ronnie keeps promise to cancer patients
When he celebrated his fifth anniversary in showbiz, Ronnie Liang paid a visit to the Philippine Children Medical Center where children suffering from cancer are confined.
“I was so moved by the kids’ condition that I promised to go back,” said Ronnie.
Ronnie did just that last Monday, Jan. 31, when he revisited the center to celebrate his birthday with the children. This time, Ronnie gave away more toys and gifts, and more games. Ronnie ate, danced and prayed with the kids, and serenaded a girl who said that she had a crush on him.
“Their parents and the nurses told me that the kids didn’t know what their illness is,” said Ronnie. “They think na minor lang ang sakit nila. It felt good to see a smile on their faces.”
Ronnie added that it was his way of thanking God for giving him another milestone in his life.
