Bernard Bonnin: Alyas Palos

The late Bernard Bonnin is best remembered for his Palos role, serialized in Tagalog Klasiks. Alyas Palos (1961) is a thief — as slippery as an eel or palos — and with many faces. Bernard would reprise the Palos role a few times more.

A few years back, Cesar Montano revived the Palos role on television, with Bernard himself, then already in failing health, making a guest appearance.
