Ricky Reyes' favorite charities

MANILA, Philippines - Q-11’s Life & Style With Gandang Ricky Reyes today at 10 a.m. features two of Ricky Reyes’ favorite charities.

The host-producer renovated Munting Paraiso at the Cancer Institute of the Philippine General Hospital in Manila and Childhaus in the PCSO Compound, Quezon City. Ricky landscaped the gardens for children afflicted with cancer, heart, liver, lung and kidney ailments. Playgrounds and the amusement room were also refurbished.

Ricky interviews PGH director Dr. Eric Domingo and Dr. Jorge Ignacio of the Cancer Institute on the institute’s background and purpose. A turnover ceremony of the newly-renovated venues was recently held at the PGH Compound. It was attended by donors Wilma Galvante of GMA Network, Corazon Ong of CDO/ Foodshere, Manny Sy Peng and Thelma Esteban of Meycauayan Business Chamber, Kohl Industries president Aton Atilano, Tan Kee Foundation’s Philip Sing, Roston Marketing, Pharma Dynamic, Nerissa Cabulan, Lina Tuazon, Ligaya Salvatierra, Ester Sermaco, Edwin Hernandez and Fil-Hair officers Raquel Pangilagan, Ivory Malaguena, Ruby Paul Valderama, Ester Garcia and managers of the Ricky Reyes Salon chain.
