MANILA, Philippines - The recent union of two long-running and established labels Viva Records and Vicor Music brings good tidings for lovers of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). Fans of great OPM artists will be glad to know that the music they have grown with and love are readily available and better than ever.

Introducing The 18 Greatest Hits album series, the grandest OPM tribute yet encompassing the musical careers of classic artists such as Victor Wood, Didith Reyes, Nonoy Zuñiga, Anthony Castelo, Jun Polistico, Basil Valdez, VST & Company, Eddie Peregrina, Yoyoy Villame as well as retrospectives of hitmakers such as Regine Velasquez, Lani Misalucha and Ogie Alcasid. The albums of Freddie Aguilar, Asin, Florante as well as the greatest hits of Hajji Alejandro, APO Hiking Society and others are also out.

The 18 Greatest Hits series can be viewed as an album of firsts. This will be the first to combine catalogs from both Viva and Vicor vaults as well as songs from other record labels.
