What makes Channel [V] International even more refreshing is the addition of Amanda Griffin to its roster of spunky VJs. She joins Channel [V]’s other glamorous VJs – Cindy Burbridge of Thailand, 22 year-old Chinese-English Sarah Tan and Malaysian superstar Paula Malai Ali.

Born in the UK, 23-year-old English-Filipina Amanda Griffin was introduced into the limelight at 12, appearing in a variety of TV commercials. Although swamped with various modelling assignments here and abroad, Amanda earned a degree in Business/Communication from Bond University of Australia. With an impressive portfolio, Amanda appeared in many international magazines and TV commercials. Besides modelling, Amanda busies herself with a swimwear boutique she opened with her best friend.

While Amanda exudes confidence in her work, she describes herself as a shy person and a good listener. However, behind that shyness, Amanda is known to be adventurous, enjoying outdoor activities like tennis, horseback riding, wake boarding and traveling. She has traveled around Asia, Europe, the US and Australia and enjoys meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and tasting good food. Amanda likes to think of herself as a citizen of the world. She enjoys the beach, listening to music, reading books and spending time with her lovable dogs Rummy and Boggles. She’s also busy with her hosting stint in F, a weekly magazine show.
