We will also hold a fun run to generate funds for the construction of additional benches and lunch counters in our beloved school,” added Alcoseba.

The tournament follows a single round robin elimination format. The top six in each division will advance into the quarterfinals, with the top two seeds gaining outright entry into the semifinal round.

The no.3 qualifier will then take on No.6 and No.4 vs. No.5 in sudden-death matches, with the winners challenging the top two squads in another knockout duel. The survivors will then clash for the championship in a best-of-three series.

To be played every Sunday from 8 am to 7 pm, the games will be supervised by commissioner Fredo Enriquez assisted by technical committee chief Rey Cañete. — (FREEMAN)
