Adlawan gears up for Malaysia moto-x
CEBU, Philippines - Top Cebuano rider Jon-Jon Adlawan gets ready for the third round of the FIM Asia Motocross Championship set on July 15 and 16 in Kuala Terannganu, Malaysia.
Adlawan, the best placed Pinoy participant during round 1 held in Puerto Princesa, Palawan failed to get into the podium in round 2 staged in Indonesia last month.
The presence of Australians and other non-Asian entries caught the Pinoy bets by surprise.
However, the Pinoys including Adlawan hope to get even when they return to action next week against competitors from Australia, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Mongolia, India, Sri Lanka, Iran and host Malaysia.
The National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSAA) posted in its official website that the country is sending a 31-man contingent.
The other Phl bets include Kenneth San Andres, Jolet Jao, brothers Migi and Miko Tolentino, 2010 Asian Junior 85 champion Jean Erick Mitra, Chadwick Garcia, Zeraj Omar Aman, Cheaster Hinayo, Mark Anthony Gonzales and Norman Moreno in the premiere category.
They wil be joined by junior riders Mark Reggie Flores, Ralph Ramento, Gabriel Macaso and Radzie Kallahal. – THE FREEMAN
