110 new cops added at CCPO
The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) gets a boost in terms of manpower after 110 new cops have been downloaded to the different police stations in the city.

CEBU, Philippines —  At least 110 new police graduates from the Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU)-7 have been augmented at the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).

These policemen are among the 299 graduates under the KADAPIG Class of the Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) at the Regional Training Center (RTC)-7 in Barangay Jugan, Consolacion, Cebu.

They will be augmented by the CCPO for six months for another training which is the Field Training Program (FTP).

The 110 policemen are assigned at all the 11 police stations of CCPO at 10 each station.

CCPO director, Police Colonel Ireneo Dalogdog, talked to the new policemen especially about what they should do to help order and peace in Cebu City.

According to Dalogdog, some of them are used as additional force to secure the APEC Business Advisory Council Meeting.

"Naa tay additional 110 personnel coming from RSTU sila pud ato na police trainee mag undergo sila og investigation, operation or other nga mga staff activity pero this time ato sila i-utilize during the APEC Business Advisory Council Meeting," said Dalogdog. — GMR (FREEMAN)
