Man faces murder raps for death of neighbor

CEBU, Philippines - A man was charged for murder before the Regional Trial Court yesterday for allegedly stabbing to death his neighbor last December 13 of this year.

Viviano Alin is facing charges for murder after he reportedly stabbed to death his neighbor Arquil Morga in sitio Tayabas, barangay Pulangbato, this city.

Jennifer Sumampong, in her affidavit, said that she saw Alin stab him.

Sumampong said she ran away for safety when she saw Morga bleeding profusely.

She said she hurried to the house of her uncle to report the said incident but when she came back, Morga was already dead.

Alin turned himself over as well as the bolo he allegedly used to the barangay chairman of Pulangbato.

It wasn’t however specified as to what could have caused such rage.

Because there were other witnesses who saw Alin commit the crime, the case was immediately filed before the RTC.
