CEBU, Philippines - Citigym, the metro’s premiere 24-hour fitness center turned six last March 28. In their continuous quest to establish a strongly fit lifestyle for the Cebuanos, Citigym held the first ever Fitness & Wellness Fair in Cebu last March 30, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.
They brought together companies, establishments and individuals who shared their passion and belief in high quality fitness, some of which included Pocari Sweat, ThreeSixty Pharmacy, NuSkin, Brick Multi Sports Store, Wise Choice Health Supplements, Pranic Healing Corner, DXN International, and Emcor among others. What made the Citigym Fitness & Wellness Fair even more dynamic and exciting for the attendees, were the talks and seminars held simultaneously throught the day. Furthermore, Citigym invited world class homegrown speakers like Iron Man champion Noy Jopson, who did a Triathlon 101 workshop and Registered Yoga Teachers Kaye Luym & Robert Vechionni who did a Yoga workshop to add awareness and educational value to the event.
More importantly, as a way of paying it forward to the community, Citigym gave back by pooling the funds from the Fitness & Wellness Fair for a Surgical Medical Mission in partnership with Junior Chamber International Zugbuana, Philippine College of Surgeons-CEVC, Cebu Doctors University Hospital Department of Surgery and the LGU of Lahug. 160 beneficiaries came last April 14 to the Lahug Barangay Hall.BY Valeriano Tomol III (FREEMAN)
