Celebrating achievement for the year 2006, awardees from the Visayas and Mindanao were welcomed by no less than IMEA Chairman Mr. David Odilao Jr. A sumptuous dinner was prepared by the very dynamic staff of the Cebu City Marriott Hotel for the opening of the gala affair.
Guest speaker, former PIA Director Ted Segura, congratulated the awardees for their contribution to Philippine business development and posed them a challenge to never settle for mediocrity and take what they have achieved to the next level, global! Further, keynote speaker Atty. Gregorio Bacolod reinforced the notion of going world class by always wearing the Cebuano label with pride. Body and Sole’s (National awardee) top honcho Johnnie Lim shared his best management practices with his peers and Fruitas (Cebu awardee) proprietor Myrna Tan pitched in with the secret behind her company’s success.
Then, it was awards galore! A total of 66 trophies were handed out to winners from all over the region in various categories. More power to enterprising Filipino businessmen!
