Selected stores of essentials remain open in Ayala malls

CEBU, Philippines —  While it remains uncertain as to when the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) will be lifted in Cebu City, the developer of Ayala Malls in Cebu, Cebu Holdings Inc. (CHI) is reminding consumers that a few stores are already operating inside the malls.

At Ayala Center Cebu, selected shops and supermarkets offering essential goods, commodities remain open and may open more shops once GCQ is implemented, in accordance to COVID-19 Inter-agency Task Force (AITF) recommendation.

As of May 15, 2020 the PUV Terminal remains closed in compliance with the safety regulations of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in Cebu City.

Stores that remain open daily are supermarkets and specialty groceries including Metro Supermarket (10:00am-5:00pm), Rustan’s Supermarket (9:00am to 6:00pm) and Healthy Options (11:00am-6:00pm). Select Bow & Wow items are also available at Healthy Options.

For drugstores and pharmacies, the following are open daily: Mercury Drug at Ayala Center Cebu Tower (8:00am to 8:00pm), Mercury Drug at Level 2 of the mall (11:00am-6:00pm), Rose Pharmacy (10:00am-6:00pm) and Watsons (9:00am to 6:00pm).

The Metro Hardware is also open daily from 10am to 5:00pm.

As of May 14, some food and beverage merchants at the mall are open daily for take-out and pick-up orders only such as, Breadtalk (11:00am to 6:00pm), Gong Cha (10:00am to 6:00pm), and J.CO Donuts at 10:00am to 5:00pm, Dunkin’ Donuts (10am-4pm), Goldilocks (9am to 5:30pm), Sumosam (10:00am to 6:00pm), Seafood Island (10:00am to 6:00pm), and New Orleans (10:00am – 6:00pm). Starbucks is also open from 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Saturday only.

BPI at Basement 1 of the mall is open from 9:00am to 6:00pm, from Monday to Saturday only.

As of this time, customers may only use Luzon Avenue for parking entrance and exit. Parking is open from 9:00am to 7:30pm only.

Customers going to Metro, Mercury Drug, Rose Pharmacy are advised to use the mall entrance at Bohol Street, near H&M.

Those going to Rustan’s and Healthy Options are advised to take the entrance along Cardinal Rosales Ave., near Vero Moda, while those going to Watsons, J.Co Donuts, Gong Cha and BreakTalk will use Biliran Street entrance, near Krispy Kreme.

For everyone’s safety, the public is also required to wear a face mask in compliance with Executive Order 066 and to present their respective quarantine passes, under Executive Order 065, before being allowed entry to the mall.

Likewise, selected stores at the AyalaMalls Central Bloc in IT Park continue to serve consumers to meet essential their needs at this time of ECQ.

Stores that are open daily are Metro Supermarket from 10:00am to 5:00pm, 7-Eleven from 5:00am to 8:00pm, Rose Pharmacy from 7:00am to 7:00pm and Metrobank from 10:0am to 2:00pm.

Some food options also remain open but for take-out and pick-up orders only. Among those that open daily for takeout are Breadtalk from 11am to 7pm, Gibbs’ Hot Wings from 10am to 7pm and Mang Inasal from 11am to 7pm.

Accepting pick-up orders are Macao Imperial Tea from 10am to 5:15pm, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf from 8am to 6pm, and Yi Fang from 11am to 6:30pm only.

Pick-up points for Macao Imperial tea and Yi Fang will be at the mall’s Corte area, near Rico’s Lechon.

For the meantime, only Basement 1 of the mall along I. Villa Street will be open for parking from 10am to 5pm. The mall observes a one entrance, one exit policy.

Open entrance to the mall will be at the Corte area, beside Rico’s Lechon along W. Geonzon Street.

For everyone’s safety, the public is also required to wear a face mask in compliance with Executive Order 066 and to present their respective quarantine passes, under Executive Order 065, before being allowed entry to the mall.
