The confidence of wealth

BUSINESS AFTER BUSINESS - Romelinda Cruz Garces - The Freeman

Where does one usually draw his confidence from?

The ability to convince another or even oneself to accomplish things, is a very important trait in business.  Many negotiations are won simply because of the manner in which the negotiator shows his confidence in his product, his service or simply his ability to deliver.

Notice how confidence speeds up processes.  When we see a person who is confident in what he or she is saying, we tend to believe in that person and we follow.  Having confidence does speed a lot of things. When people are confident in us, we draw from that trust and work up our own self-confidence.

So again, where does confidence emanate from?

A lot of the answers I got from this simple question pointed out to WEALTH.

Now, before we zero in to the material, let us look at how wealth is defined.  Webster states that wealth is “great abundance of anything, a state of being rich; all property possessing a monetary value.”

Great abundance of anything.  True.  Wealth can be an abundance of money.  And usually, when one has money, one has better access to things that can be bought.  A good education for instance, better packaging, which may entail quality clothes, tastefully selected items that can exude a certain amount of class, and add to the self-esteem.  Money begets power, so they say, as financial capacity allows the one who has it to move things faster and give credence to his or her commitments.

Wealth can also be an abundance of knowledge.  Intelligence provides one with a more potent sense of confidence.  It brings out reliability and also reaps in, in the process the material wealth that is the price of the knowledge exchange.  An aptitude or astuteness for things sometimes even becomes more intimidating than the real dinero.   Knowing that the person we are talking with is backed with real productive knowledge speeds up confidence and quickens agreements and ultimately the business.  Thus, it is important to cultivate the mind with insights, and open thoughts to more learning and discoveries.  A learned person can bring in more wealth than a wealthy one without the brains.

Healthy people also display the vivacity needed in growing a business.  When you see your associates work with enthusiasm because they are in the pink of health, you know they can think straight and can work faster and more prolifically.  A robust health report creates that confidence that can foresee a completion of a project.

Another source of riches is a clear and deep spirituality.  Faith has a strong hold on a person’s value system.  And when you know your business partner has a profound connection with God, you tend to be more confident in his or her commitment and this speeds up the wheels of business.

Having wealth of these kind would catapult an enterprise into a more dynamic business for people around would take their confidence in the evident wealth.
