NHMFC earns consecutive COA unmodified opinion

National Home Mortgage Finance Corp. president Renato Tobias receives from Abigail Lomogbad, chief of the general accounting division, the Commission on Audit’s Annual Audit Report on NHMFC for fiscal years ended Dec. 31, 2025 and 2024.

MANILA, Philippines — The National Home Mortgage Finance Corp. (NHMFC) has once again earned an Unmodified Opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for its financial statements for the fiscal years ended Dec. 31, 2025 and 2024, reaffirming the corporation’s adherence to the highest standards of financial reporting, internal controls and sound financial management.

An Unmodified Opinion – the highest audit opinion issued by COA – signifies that NHMFC’s financial statements are presented fairly and in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework.

NHMFC president Renato Tobias said the consecutive Unmodified Opinion reflects NHMFC’s continuing transformation into a modern, high-performing housing finance institution driven by good governance, digital transformation, operational excellence and strengthened partnerships both in the Philippines and across the region.

“Receiving another Unmodified Opinion from COA is more than an institutional achievement; it is a reflection of our commitment to demonstrating that good governance and public service go hand in hand,” Tobias said.
