'Stars Reignited' concert reunion adds November show

MANILA, Philippines — “Stars Reignited: The Metropop Star Search Concert Reunion” will stage a repeat performance on November 28 at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan, following the reported sellout of its September 5 show at Teatrino.

The concert brings together former Metropop Star Search contestants who rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The reunion was initiated by 1999 grand champion Miles Poblete, who wanted to bring together fellow contestants after years apart.

Joining Poblete are Faith Cuneta, Xaxa Manalo, Champagne Morales, Roxanne Barcelo, Camille Velasco and Anna Katrina Lara.

The performers are expected to deliver memorable songs and share stories from their musical journeys, celebrating their roots in the singing competition.

Vivian Poblete Blancaflor will direct the production, while Elmer Blancaflor serves as musical director, arranger and producer.

Presented by EV Productions & Events, “Stars Reignited: The Metropop Star Search Concert Reunion — The Repeat” is scheduled for November 28 at 7 p.m. at the Music Museum.
