"An Interpol 'Red Notic' is an alert for law enforcement around the world to locate and temporarily arrest a person pending extradition, extradition or similar legal action," sabi ng PCIC sa wikang Portuges kahapon.

"It is based on an arrest warrant or a court order issued by the judicial authorities of the requesting country."

"Today’s apprehension of Teves is a testament to the power of international cooperation," sabi kahapon ni Department of Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin "Boying" Remulla.

"It sends a clear message that no terrorist can evade justice and that nations stand united in safeguarding the safety and security of their citizens."

"The capture of Teves only proves that through concerted efforts and determination, terrorism can be thwarted and peace preserved," dagdag pa ni Remulla.

"Face your long-delayed trial without setting any conditions, face the courts squarely... Rest assured that the DOJ remains committed to providing regular updates on Teves’ return to the Philippines."
