Napoles nagpapalipat sa NBI jail

MANILA, Philippines – Hiniling ng kampo ng umano’y pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles sa Department of Justice (DOJ) na mailipat siya sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Detention Center.

Sinabi ng abogado ni Napoles na si Stephen David, sinulatan ni ang DOJ kahapon upang maialis na ang kaniyang kliyente sa Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) sa Mandaluyong City.

“I wrote to the DOJ that if possible, Napoles be transferred to the NBI detention facility because she is no longer fit for detention at the correctional, which is for convicted prisoners,” pahayag ni David.

Aniya hiniling niya ito kasunod ng pahayag ni ustice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre na maaaring ipabukas ang imbestigasyon sa pork barrel scam kung saan tinitingnan na gawing state witness si Napoles.

“We are likewise open to that possibility [of Napoles testifying]...She has always been willing to divulge all that she knows about the PDAF scam, but the previous administration did not want to listen to her because some of its allies will be implicated,” dagdag ng abogado.

Sinabi pa ni David na patas ang administrasyong Duterte na nais din malaman ang buong katotohanan sa PDAF scam.

Nais din ipatiyak ng abogado ang kaligtasan ni Napoles sa NBI lalo na kung gagawing siyang testigo.

“She will face more serious threats, because who knows, there are personalities na pwede talaga madaanan (who will be implicated).”
