MANILA, Philippines – Nagpaabot na ng pagbati si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay US president-elect Donald Trump matapos manalo ito sa US presidential elections laban kay Democratic party candidate Hillary Clinton.

The United States presidential elections is a testament to the enduring traditions of its democratic system and the American way of life. The two-party system gives American voters freedom of choice based on party platforms, not just on personalities,” pahayag ni Presidential Communications Sec. Martin Andanar na kasama ni Pangulong Duterte sa biyahe sa Thailand at Malaysia.
Hangad anya ni Duterte ang tagumpay ni Trump sa kanyang pamumuno sa Estados Unidos.
Umaasa rin ito na magkaroon ng magandang relasyon ang US at Pilipinas sa ilalim ng administrasyon ng bagong halal na Pangulo.
Magugunita na inilarawan ni Duterte si Trump sa interview niya kamakailan sa Al-Jazeera television na isang ‘good presidential candidate’.
