CEBU, Philippines — Ang Batang Pilipino Basketball League mobalik sa lungsod sa Carmen sa amihanang bahin sa Sugbo alang sa BPBL Season 2 Central Visayas Regional Finals nga gikatakda karong Pebrero 2-4 sa Carmen Sports and Activity Center.

"We are deeply honored that our town has been chosen again to host this BPBL Regional Finals," matud pa ni konsehal Rashid Tacocong atol sa pormal nga paglusad sa maong kalihukan didto sa Carmen Session Hall kagahapon adlawa.

"Rest assured that we are well prepared for this upcoming league, from the billeting centers to the peace and order and safety of all the participants, and other areas that we need to take care of," dugang pa ni Tacocong.

Ang ubang mga opisyal sa lungsod mipadayag sab sa hugot nilang suporta sa umaabot nga liga didto sa ilang tugkaran.

"On the part of the Sangguniang Kabataan, we will extend our full to this endeavor as sports has always been an integral part of our youth development  program," paambit pa nibSK Federation President Hannah Trixy Bejoc.

Sa laing bahin, magbugno sa Under 13 age group sa tulo ka adlaw nga torneyo nga gipresenta sa Down Under Promotions Sports and Events mao ang Mommy's Choice sa Danao City, University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors sa Cebu City, ug 1521 x Hype Basketball sa Cebu Province.

Sa Under 16, mag-ilog sa korona ang Young Ballers Club sa Bohol Province, Brodie 7 Hasslers sa Tagbilaran City, Ronbucz Basketball sa Talisay  City, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles sa Mandaue City, ug Brgy. Estaca sa Compostela.

Magpinaksitay alang sa titulo sa Under 18 category mao ang host Carmen  Ni os, University of Cebu (UC) Baby Webmasters sa Cebu City, ug University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Baby Panthers nga nagrepresenta sa Mandaue.

Moduwa sila ubos sa single round robin format, diin ang top 2 teams mag-engkwentro alang sa kampiyonato sa tagsa-tagsa nila ka dibisyon. Ang makampiyon mo-abante sa National Finals karong Hulyo.
